RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: 

Hiking, canoeing, rafting, local state parks; there are various tourism sites in many of our Appalachian areas.

APPALACHIAN MISSION PROJECTS:

Groups traveling to locations in Appalachia are usually called upon to do general home repair, assist local churches with VBS, nursing home ministry, and Bible clubs at local parks or housing projects.

CURRENT NEEDS:

  • Home Repair-  light home repair to families in need.    Handicap ramp for family member in wheel chair.   Adopt this family for future ministry.

  • Local Church – need of staff for Vacation Bible School.    Need for repair work to a local church.

  • Local Food Ministry – Assist local non-profit ministry in providing food to clients.  

  • Park Ministry – conduct outside VBS in local park.  

  • Survey -  Work in door-to-door survey of community to access needs for local non-profit Christian agency.
