About Youth on Mission
THE MISSION PROJECT:
The mission project is tailored to your group and you serve as a group in order that GOD be glorified and the Gospel is proclaimed! Youth on Mission seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and various types of projects and partnerships are the vehicle in which this is accomplished. We know that every team is unique with different talents, skills, experience and interests. Some groups may want to do construction, another may want to lead a VBS and another may want to do concerts and drama. Some may want all of the above! Each mission experience is unique for each group based on what you tell us you want to do with the end goal of sharing the love and saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. With over 18 years of experience, YOM has a vast network of ministry connections across the world. This allows us to provide a wide range of mission projects. Our goal is to match the right mission teams to the right ministry partner!
Below are examples of the type of projects our groups are able to do:

THE WORSHIP:
Three times during the week all of the groups come together for worship and devotions led by YOM Field Staff. Groups arrive on Sunday night and gather for introductions, orientation, fellowship, worship and devotions. On Tuesday night all of the groups gather again for worship, devotions and the Adult leaders from the groups get to share testimonies. Thursday is the highlight of the week as the youth get share what God has taught them!

THE HOUSING:
YOM groups stay in clean, comfortable locations, not a school or church floor. All groups stay in hotels, colleges, retreat centers or campgrounds. Why is that important? It is important because the last thing you need on a short-term mission trip is something else to distract you from ministering to your group and serving God. Churches and schools are not usually equipped or prepared to handle large groups of people at once whereas other locations are created for that very purpose. Additionally, YOM is able to provide the housing for about the same cost or even less than sleeping in a church or school!
THE FOOD:
A hot breakfast is provided each morning so you can start the day ready to serve. A to-go lunch is provided so you do not have to leave your mission location and can maximize your time. Dinner is not provided, except in Appalachia locations, to allow groups time and opportunity to experience the local culture as they wish.
